Web Design That Puts Money in Your Bank

Did you know a recent HubSpot.com study found 1/3 of businesses that did a site redesign in the last 12 months were unhappy with the results.

You don’t want to waste those dollars on a failed website redesign do you?

If you're a small business with limited internal expertise and resources, this is particularly important for you.

Here's why your redesign will most likely fail:

  1. No feedback gathered from your visitors: you need to listen to what your visitors are telling you through surveys and customer support.
  2. Not enough research: take time to determine what is working on your current website through your website analytics.
  3. Web designers aren’t experts in conversion: yes you want your website to look great, but it must be usable and functional as well to increase your conversion rates. You need a conversion rate optimization expert involved in the process as well.

Conversion optimized web design?

Yes, that's a fancy way of saying I make sure every word and every image of your design is focused on converting more of your website visitors into customers.

I design websites that have one goal: increase your revenue!

"Wow, you must be multi-talented to pull that off" you might say.

Well thank you.

But I have to admit I have help. I have a small team of specialized contractors who help me when required, including:

  • two ‘direct response’ copywriters;
  • two ‘conversion trained’ UX designers;
  • and four developers who eat, breath and sleep code.

Not to toot my own horn, but I've had a few articles published over the Internet:

You need to start with the right foundation ...

... a website designed from the ground up for high conversions.

I don't take a guess and pray approach, I run the numbers. I dive deep into your websites analytics and find out what your visitors really want.

I thoroughly research your target audience to understand their reasons for buying (or not buying), then translate their desires and expectations into your design.

Once your new website is live, I don't stop there. For the first three months you'll receive a monthly report summarizing your website's performance and my recommendations to further optimize it for increased revenue.

This is not for you:

If you want to rely on your personal design preferences (instead of a data-driven approach).

I don't design websites based on somebody's subjective opinion. I follow the money. I'm not designing for you—I'm designing for your customers.

My design decisions are based on years research and experience in the fields of usability and conversion optimization.

How this happens in practice

My four step process for creating high conversion rates is as follows:

1. Research and analysis:

I study the information you send me, search the web for additional information, analyze your website and review your competitors websites.

2. Direct response copywriting:

Great copy is the workhorse behind your conversions and this paired with the right design can amplify your conversions with a cumulative effect.

3. Conversion optimized design:

Design based on proven usability and conversion principles.

4. 'Responsive' development:

Each page is carefully crafted pixel by pixel into clean HTML, CSS and Javascript code and then tested across the four main browsers (Safari, Firefox, Chrome & IE). ‘Responsive design’ is standard so your website looks great on tablet and mobile devices.
